Look Nature from My Eyes

Look Nature from My Eyes
Today, I am here with no noise of machines to disturb my soul. It seems as if my soul has banished itself from my body and is wandering in some serene eternity. You may be thinking about what I am saying. But let me tell you that I am talking about a village, where I am today for two days. It is a typical modern Indian village having many qualities identical with cities. But, I have to confess that it still, has not lost its charm and simplicity of life.
Early in the morning I happened to go on round of the village with my brother-in-law. When we were wondering, we came to a beautiful pound. It was so beautiful that it filled me with delight, freshness, curiosity and some thoughts.
I should say it was a beautiful morning. Calmness reigned the whole atmosphere. Only birds were allowed to sing the glory of god’s grace. No one can escape from such charismatic landscape. Another thing that I noticed was the increasing the gorgeousness of the scene. There were uncountable lotuses there. They were white and red, surrounded by rounded leaves. There were a range of thick trees on the shore, leaning into pond. It created a kind of wall that escorts the beauty of the pond.
When I saw lotuses and trees one by one, a thought came to me. I thought that these trees must be ‘travellers’ who came here during their journey. When they saw such enchanting scenery they stuck dump and couldn’t escape from here and transformed themselves into trees, only to drink the wine of nature. Lotuses must be some fairies that were enjoying the bathing and playing with the water and leaves around them seemed as their clothes floating in the water. They were seducing those ‘travellers’ in the form of trees, who were leaning to peep into their beauties.
Some people were travelling in a boat. They might be going to their fields. They already became the part of the scene. This aroused jealousy in me, because I couldn’t be as intimate with nature as they were. Nature has endowed its best blessing on them, but persons like me can’t have this grace because we transformed ourselves into civilized monsters that can enjoy beauty only in paintings, television screens or in some poems of Wordsworth. Actually we invited this curse on ourselves. In order to fulfil our artificial necessities we crushed nature and created our own jungle of concrete, where emotions because the concrete, where emotions become the concrete block, adorned with artificial colours. We forgot the simple truth that ‘Beauty is to see not to touch’, but we touched it and the result is this curse of machine like life.
Fortunately, our villages didn’t eat this fruit of knowledge (?) completely and they are happy. When they will digest this fruit wholly, nature will be myth. So, for god’s shake, for yourself and future, Save Nature, Save Humanity!
